Happy Nest ‘s Autumn blog is full of great ideas for our busy nannies & families, make the little ones autumn magical with fun days out & crafty days at home. 



  • 21,23 & 25 October, 10am – Family Fungi Walks. Have some fun-gi in the woods & learn about what to look for… Quarry Bank, Styal, Nr Wilmslow.
  • 20 October, 2.30pm – All Aboard! Family concert with the music from titanic, chitty chitty bang bang, thunderbirds & more… Liverpool philharmonic Hall
  • 19 October-3 November, 10am-5pm – Halloween Fun at Stockley Farm. Lots of spooky activities to enjoy… Stockley Farm Park, Northwich. 
  • 19 October – 3 November, 10am-5pm – Ghosts in the Garden! Go hunting in the gardens at Tatton park for some ghosts! Spooky story telling on the weekends… Tatton Park, Knutsford.
  • 21 – 25 October – Delamere Forest Halloween Hunt. Walk around the forest for some spooky surprises! 
  • 23-31 October – Trick & Treat Week at Gullivers World. Join in on the ghostly goings on…
  • 31 October – Chester Halloween Celebration, fancy dress, disco, refreshments and more… call 07923 953400
  • 22,23 & 24 October, 1-4pm – The Big Draw! Take part in fun drawing activities inspires by the unique paintings of David Hockney… Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. 0151 478 4199 FREE – Plus lots of other events such as the family art club on the 2 November.
  • Museum of Liverpool – Little Liverpool – Its crammed with hands-on activities, simply collect a free timed ticket at the welcome desk and prepare to have some fun! October half term activities fun daily 2-4pm. 0151 478 4545
