Let’s Get To Know Each Other
We learn all about your family’s requirements. When we chat in our initial conversation we will be asking you questions around your weekly schedule, job/travel commitments, and your childcare/parenting beliefs and philosophies. We will discuss the professional characteristics you’d like to see in your new nanny. Most importantly we love to hear all the details about your children, their hobbies and interests, extracurricular commitments, and their personalities.
We Commence Our Search
Based on the requirements and specific criteria, we will initiate our search for your new nanny. A unique job description is drafted bespoke for you, it’s informative, with a personal touch. We narrow it down to the very, very best, normally 2-3 nannies. We build out detailed nanny profile packs which we send to you for a good read through. We ensure that our nanny placements are successful with regards to fitting in with your family’s personality, ethics and parenting style. When you hire a nanny through Happy Nest, you’ll be introduced to candidates that are passionate, qualified and experienced.
Time to Meet Our Nannies
We coordinate and schedule interviews with your chosen nannies in the comfort of your home, with the help of our Happy Nest interview guide book. Typically most of our families choose to meet with 2, sometimes 3 nannies. Following the interviews, we check in with both you and our nannies for some confidential feedback.
We advise all our families to build in some time to have a trial period, it could simply be a day you plan to work from home, so you’re around to guide the way a little. Alternatively, you might have your new nanny assist at various times over a typical week. It’s a wonderful opportunity for both you and your new nanny to see things in action.
The Job Offer
Once you have decided to make an offer to your future nanny, we will take care of all the salary negotiations, inform you on your responsibilities as an employer, and coordinate any last-minute details to help ensure the final process is smooth and stress-free for everyone.
As you go through this final stage, you can take comfort in knowing we’re with you every step of the way. We provide support throughout this finalising stage, right through to sending out the job offer letter, drawing up the employment contract, and setting up the monthly payslips for your new nanny.
