Both, however, provide unconditional support in a friendly yet professional way. We can also help you gain more knowledge and expertise as you progress in your career.

- M1 – Understanding The Family Home Environment
Covered topics include defining the role of a nanny in a child’s learning and development, understanding parent expectations when recruiting a nanny and the Modern Data Protection law and how this impacts your role as a nanny.
- M2 – Professional Relationships
Covered topics include different communication methods appropriate for parents and children, development of skills to aid the child’s learning process and learning to handle challenging situations presented by the child.
- M3 – Health And Safety As A Nanny
Covered topics include identifying risks in everyday environments and establishing necessary changes to make to minimise risk.
- M4 – Providing Healthy Meal ideas
Covered topics include understanding the level of influence a Nanny has over a child’s diet and how to harness this to create health habits, developing meal plans tailored to the needs of the child and discussion around the dangers of allergies and how to avoid a reaction.
- M5 – Child Development
Covered topics include recognising the crucial role of a nanny in a child’s development trajectory, how to plan different activities to inspire different types of learning and different methods of delivering learning activities in a fun fashion.
- M6 – Employment Matters For Nanny’s
Covered topics include correct employment documentation (what to include and what to leave out), setting expectations for yourself and managing that of the parents, exploring important contacts for useful services to be used throughout your career and future development.

Our Founder and Director, Margaret, has a rich history in people management and plays an active role in the focusing the strategic direction of Project Action. Proactive by nature, her witty personality brings joy to her tutorials and is sure to lift the spirits of any team.
With a career spanning over 35 years, Margaret trained at Bexley College in 1982 to gain a Nursery Nursing Examination Board qualification (NNEB) to go on to become the manager of a local day nursery. She then discovered her passion for recruitment which led her to re-training and opening her own recruitment agency specialising in the recruitment of nannies and child carers which also led her to write her own Ofsted compliant course for nannies.
Margaret has gained a Diploma in Education and Teaching (DET) from Canterbury Christ Church University 2018 to ensure she is delivering the best possible content in your coaching sessions. Sessions are always informal and interactive when delivered by Margaret; participants always leave feeling inspired and empowered.
Our course is online, but we offer individual help and assistance for every student. We will guide you to gain the information and confidence in the core skills to work professionally as a nanny in a family home. This will help you gain Ofsted registration and in addition will show families your commitment to train and work in this role caring for their children.
