Part-Time Nanny Housekeeper Live In or Live Out, Stanmore

Location: Stanmore, UK

Hours: 18 hours per week, spread over 4 days. Initially weekdays with the potential to include Saturdays.

Salary: £16 to£18.00 per hour Gross

 

We are seeking a professional and experienced Part-Time Nanny Housekeeper to support a single-parent household in Stanmore. This role includes domestic housekeeping and one-to-one childcare for a teenage boy with special needs, alongside providing assistance to dad. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, a supportive nature, and the ability to manage household tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide reliable childcare, helping with school readiness, homework support, and the development of independence and emotional self-care, particularly catering to the childs special needs.

– Perform domestic tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and shopping, either online or in-store.

– Assist dad with daily tasks such managing household diary

– Manage the household environment to ensure it is comfortable and meets the familys needs.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in childcare, with specific experience managing ADHD and Autism.

– Experience in housekeeping or a strong ability to undertake domestic activities.

– Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to learn new skills, particularly in helping dad with a smooth running home.

– Must be a driver with access to a car, willing to use it for work purposes (mileage reimbursed).

– Flexibility to adapt work hours and tasks according to the evolving needs of the family.

– Enhanced DBS check and excellent references required.

Preferences:

– Recognised childcare qualifications.

– Comfortable with the use of mobile phones and basic technology.

Additional Information:

This position can be offered on a live-out or live-in basis. For live-in candidates, accommodation includes a generously sized loft conversion bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and meals are provided.
