Part-Time Nanny in Upminster, East London
Start date: September
Happy Nest are seeking a nurturing nanny who truly loves working with young children to join this lovely family based in Upminster , East London
With two children under five, this family household might be busy, but it’s not without plenty of love! They’re seeking a part time, live out nanny to provide sole charge care of their two children aged three, and 7-months.
Naturally, this role will require you to have extensive experience caring for toddlers and babies.
As an experienced early years nanny, you’ll be confident caring for the two ages. You’ll enjoy setting up stimulating, educational, and developmental age-appropriate activities for both children . You’ll love reading, playing games, singing songs, and all kinds of other activities. We’re thinking peekaboo, plenty of “why” questions, and there’s probably going to be Dinosaurs and princesses…….
Within walking distance of Upminster centre (it’s a pretty town centre with lots of independent shops and cafes for coffee and cupcakes that’s well worth a visit), and only 30 minutes drive from the beautiful fishing village of Leigh on Sea for a trip to the beach or paddle , there’s plenty to do. You’ll find several parks within the local areas, and lots on offer for baby and toddler activities.
Whilst Miss 3 is a typical three-year-old who loves to be sociable and is very easy to please , she enjoys ballet dancing and is very affectionate. you’ve also got the perfect opportunity to enjoy baby cuddles as Mr 7mths is super smiley and loves lots of hugs throughout the day! Clear some space for a little tummy time, or head off to baby and toddler rhyme time or a messy play class. Both these guys love a sing song so feel free to bring out your best nursery rhyme cd and belt out a few numbers together. ( Ear plugs not provided )
Built a pillow fort before lunch? Spent some time colouring in? Read Dear Zoo one million times? Why not let mum and dad know just how busy the three of you have been. This family would very much like to know what their children have been up to during the day. They are a very easy-going family with a positive approach and clear boundaries.
You’ll need to keep a short log of the daily events. Things like your activities, lunch times and what was eaten (maybe skim over all the food that ended up on the floor), and don’t forget to note down the all-important nap times. #sleepislife
