Happy Nest are seeking an organised, pro-active and energetic Nanny Housekeeper for a professional family living in Beaconsfield , Buckinghamshire.

This is a busy household. Both parents work full time, and as such they’re looking to find a great nanny housekeeper for their 5-year-old and 9 year old sons.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and extremely organised. You’ll manage the day-to-day functions of the home and provide loving care to their children.
This Beaconsfield nanny position is a full time, live out role.
- 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
This family enjoy living in an organised and tidy home, and as a result their dream nanny housekeeper will be keen to keep their house in order. The ideal candidate will be able to triage tasks and assess priorities and take action without direction.
During school hours you will be primarily responsible for the efficient running of the house. As housekeeper, you’ll assist with all housekeeping related duties, including laundry, as well as doing the grocery shopping and preparing meals for the household. The family also employ a cleaner so you will not need to do regular cleans but ensure the house is kept tidy.
Consider yourself to be a good communicator? This role requires a can-do attitude, and the successful candidate will approach constructive communication as an essential component to keeping the family home running smoothly.
You will have an eye for detail, understanding what needs to be done, and enjoy seeing the end result of your work. It will benefit you greatly in this role, if you also like to be organised and tidy in your day-to-day life, as this is a key element of this role. It’s an interesting and varied role with errands to run , gardeners and workman to oversee and occasional project management for ongoing renovations in the home. The family also have a swimming pool of which you will need to do weekly checks.
Outside of school hours you will provide sole charge care to the 5-year-old and 9-year-old boys .You’ll leave to collect Mr 5 from school at 2.50pm, and the two of you will have some one to one time together to catch up on reading, spellings and homework or grab a coffee and watch the world go by together before picking up Mr 9 around 4pm.
As their nanny, you’ll facilitate stimulating child-led activities that are super fun, engaging, and exciting. The boys love everything sporty , and regularly go to kickboxing, tennis lessons and swimming . They also love bike riding and playing outside. They are polite and well-mannered boys.
Childcare duties will include school runs, taking them to after-school clubs and events, cooking meals, helping with homework, and creating/overseeing interesting activities to inspire development. Naturally, during school holidays, and at times when the boys are at home, the role will be more Nanny focused but they regularly attend sports camps in the holidays.
As always, the successful candidate will have a passion for childcare, and go about the role with a positive and respectful attitude. You’ll standout in this role if you have a passion for excellence.
You’ll need to be a driver to be successful in your application for this role. It will also be highly valued if you are competent in the kitchen. The family also have 2 cats.
